SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. —
Channel 2 Action News went to some of the local businesses targeted in a big pill mill bust and found out more about the shocking amounts of prescription narcotics some pharmacies were selling.
At D&B Pharmacy in Douglasville, workers told Channel 2's Linda Stouffer they were not allowed to comment on the raids or the arrest of pharmacist and CFO David Ajueyitsi.
Federal DEA agents arrested 12 people in seven counties in a sweeping raid Tuesday, part of a joint operation with the GBI and local authorities.
According to a DeKalb County indictment, D&B pharmacy was selling "very high quantities of oxycodone."
Prosecutors said 95 percent of the oxycodone sold there was for patients who lived in other states, including Alabama and Ohio.

The pharmacy is a mile from Interstate 20, which investigators point out is not the nearest pharmacy to the Sandy Springs clinic where many patients got their prescriptions.
At Village Pharmacy in Douglasville, prosecutors said the owners were on track for ordering six times the national pharmacy average of oxycodone.
Husband and wife pharmacists, Christopher and Christy Parker, were arrested Tuesday during the raids. Staffers at Village Pharmacy said they had no comment when Stouffer went in to ask about the allegations.
A Douglasville customer, Mark Fredrickson, said he hopes the raids don't affect him when he needs his legitimate prescriptions.
"It's terrible because it gives people a bad name that actually need it, people that actually have a problem. It's terrible they need to get rid of all those pill mills," Fredrickson said.
Tuesday, GBI and DEA agents swarmed the Atlanta Counseling and Recovery Center in Sandy Springs.
Investigators said it was an all cash, high-volume pain clinic dispensing powerful painkillers.
When Channel 2 went by to check Tuesday, a sign said "Closed until further notice."
