Armed robbers hit Peachtree City Target

Officials with the Peachtree City Police Department said officers hope someone will come forward with information about a robbery at a Target store.

Police said two men held up the store on North Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City on Tuesday night.

Officers said while the store employees were attempting to close, two men entered the store, pulled a gun, threatened several employees and customers, and ordered the employees to open several cash registers.

Police said the men took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officials said both men were in the store for a short time and fled on foot.
