ATLANTA —
First, Pruitt explores the beauty and history of West Georgia. He takes you on one of the longest tree top tours in the world. You’ll see the exciting bridges and zip line across the Snake Creek. He also shows you the area known as Banning Mills that sits beside the Snake Creek.
Channel 2’s Fred Blankenship discovers another interesting “tree” experience at Panola Mountain. Panola Mountain is designated as a national landmark; the same status awarded the Grand Canyon. Blankenship reveals where you can climb a 90 foot Southern Red Oak and have family adventures.
Jovita Moore, Channel 2’s 5 p.m. anchor, takes you to a 412-acre black lake that will take your breath away. She rides on a boat tour where you literally feel like you are floating back in primeval times.
“Reporting on Georgia's natural wonders is my idea of the perfect assignment,” said Pruitt. “It's a joy to travel to these scenic areas not only to capture their beauty for our viewers, but also to share the rich history that surrounds Georgia's hidden treasures.”
