3 Teens Arrested In Slaying Of Landscaper

COVINGTON, Ga. —

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says three more people have been arrested in the slaying of a Conyers landscaper whose body was found in a Newton County creek.

The GBI said Tuesday that 17-year-old Christian Caldwell was charged with murder and armed robbery, among other charges, and 18-year-old Brittney Beasley was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. They are from Covington, along with a juvenile who also has been charged.

Another man, 22-year-old Pablo Maldonado, was arrested by police in Anniston, Ala., early Sunday on charges including murder and armed robbery in the death of 55-year-old Timothy Clements.

Clements was discovered by a fisherman Friday afternoon in Snapping Shoals Creek near Georgia 212. He had been missing for a day.

The three adults are being held at the Newton County Jail and the juvenile is being held at a juvenile detention center.

Clements' truck was found Monday.
