3 accused of stealing guns from police

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —

FBI officials and DeKalb County authorities have arrested three men accused of stealing guns from police officers.

Investigators said Tiunta Battle, Paul Cargile, and Demario Middlebrooks are part of a street gang.

Officers recovered an arsenal of weapons police said the gang stole from the Atlanta Police Department, Conyers Police Department, and the Georgia State Patrol.

The items included a sawed-off shotgun, a Glock 45, a Taser, and a bullet-proof vest, police said.
