285 Reopens After Truck Wreck

COBB COUNTY, Ga. —

All southbound lanes of I-285 in Cobb County reopened Friday morning after a truck wreck snarled traffic for almost an hour.

The jack-knifed tractor trailer shut down the southbound lanes of I-285 at Paces Ferry Road around 10:45 a.m.

Traffic backed up on the outer loop of the Perimeter and onto I-75 in both directions.

Crews worked to clean up oil spilled during the crash.

All lanes reopened by noon.
