1 Killed In I-75 Wreck

 

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. —

Police suspect alcohol and speed were involved in a single vehicle wreck early Thursday morning on I-75 south in Clayton County that left one person dead and another seriously injured.

The driver of a pick up truck lost control of the vehicle and flipped over a guard rail on 75 near the Old Dixie Highway/Tara Boulevard exit. Both people in the truck were ejected; neither was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

One person died at the scene. Paramedics took the injured person to Grady Memorial Hospital.
