TASMANIA — This is not an average day in Tasmania, if you can believe it. (Tasmania is an island off the coast of Australia.)
Tasmanian police posted photos on its Facebook page of a large seal that somehow made its way onto land in the suburban city of Newstead.
The seal was seen sitting on a car’s hood and windshield, causing minor damage.
Police warned residents to remain a safe distance from the seal and to “avoid unnecessarily agitating the animal.”
