ATLANTA — Much like the usual standstill traffic in metro Atlanta, cows are no longer moo-ving on the interstates.
The Georgia Department of Transportation said a cow that wandered from an overturned truck crash on Interstate 285 earlier this month was spotted Monday.
GDOT crews were able to safely wrangle up the cow shortly before 2 p.m.

Well this is interesting. Remember the cow situation on 285 & 75 a couple of weeks ago? Well, there’s still one out there. Crews are working to get the cow out of harms way now. @GADeptofTrans pic.twitter.com/x62TF4fHJg

Channel 2 Action News followed this saga on our morning and evening newscasts back on Oct. 1, when traffic was backed up for miles in Cobb County and Sandy Springs.
A total of 89 cows were on the truck when it overturned and police previously thought they had caught the last one.
The incident earlier this month wasn't the first time this year that Atlanta had cows causing traffic problems. Ten cows died in a crash back in May near the same area but off Interstate 75.
