HAWAII — A family visiting from South Korea is thankful for some good Samaritans who saved a boy from being sucked into the ocean.
Hawaii News Now anchor Keahi Tucker posted video of the terrifying moments.
In the video, you can see the family standing in the water on Sunset Beach on the island of Honolulu this weekend, at first enjoying the water care-free. And then in a moment, waves dragged out the 8-year-old boy.
The boy’s family members are seen in the video running to try to rescue him but the waves are too fast and too strong for them.
