Dog welcomes Georgia Air Force Lt. home after 6 month deployment

MINOT, ND — He was gone for six months away from his family and friends – but it was his dog that seemed to miss him the most.

First Lt. Stephen Dupuis, from Warner Robins, Georgia, was deployed in Guam where he is a electronic warfare officer on a B-52 Stratofortress. He arrived back this week to Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota – and his dog, Lucy, was waiting there for him.

Of course, his family was also very happy to have him back home. They spent several months together in Guam while he was deployed.

To cap off his emotional arrival, his youngest daughter, Nella, took her first steps.
