BOSTON — Firefighters ventured out onto a frozen pond in Boston to rescue a dog trapped in the water.
Video posted on Facebook shows a firefighter make his way out to the dog and pull him to safety.

The woman who posted the video said she came across the dog and was prepared to rescue it herself.
She said the ice broke underneath her, so she decided to call 911.
The fire department was able to get the dog out of the freezing water and she is OK.
