Wesser worked for Harley for 24 years after falling in love with the bikes a young age.

"Harley dripping oil, smoke coming out of everywhere and I fell in love with motorcycles right there," Wesser told KPHO-TV.

On Sunday, members of the local VFW post rallied with a nearby Harley-Davidson dealer to help Wesser fulfill a final wish for the centurion.

"It was just a natural for us to come out and put him on a back of a new trike glide and take him for a ride," Logan Roberts, the general manager of the Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson dealership told KPHO-TV.
