Man blames pepper spray after crashing into restaurant

FAIRBURN, Ga. — A man says pepper spray caused him to crash into a south Fulton County restaurant.

He crashed into the Wing restaurant on Campbellton-Fairburn Road on Tuesday.

The manager said he is thankful the crash didn’t happen on a busier day.

“There would have been some people sitting right (where the car crashed). There would have been several people in the building. Someone could have gotten hurt,” manager Desmond Seymour said.

The driver told workers he became distracted when pepper spray on his key chain suddenly went off.
