BARROW COUNTY, Ga. - A Barrow County woman says someone spotted her baby water buffalo that ran away during Saturday night's storms.
A driver spotted the animal along a county road on Monday around 2 a.m. The 7-month-old buffalo has since been returned to Wilderness Farm in Auburn, Ga.
Owner Charlotte Cates told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution on Sunday that Saturday's storms likely scared off the animal.
Cates said the buffalo is at home safe and sound.
