SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A driver chasing his own stolen car hit and killed a 25-year-old woman Tuesday morning.
Margaret Laurent was stopped at a red light at Oakley Industrial Boulevard and Spence Road around 5:45 a.m.
The driver of the chasing car, a 22-year-old man, lost control of his car and crashed into Laurent’s car, killing her on impact.
The man was badly injured and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police say the stolen car was recovered at the Orchard Springs apartments.
Police do not know who was responsible for stealing the car.
