Family, friends search for missing Buckhead woman

ATLANTA,None — The family of a missing Atlanta woman is making a plea to find her after she went missing more than a week ago.

Stacy Nicole English disappeared from her Buckhead condo off Lenox Road the day after Christmas.

"(I) tried to reach Stacy several times during the week. She left very important things behind, such as the access key to get into the condo, and the fireplace was on," English's mother, Cindy Jamison, said.

English also left behind her cellphone.

The 36-year-old works for Sun Trust bank and has lived in her condo for four years.

Family and friends have planned to meet at 8 p.m. on Wednesday to organize their search effort. They have printed hundreds of thousands of fliers to get the word out about English's disappearance. Although it has been nine days, they said they're positive they can find her safe. They are also using social media to organize a massive search along Lenox Road on Saturday.

English’s family said a male friend came to visit her from St. Louis for the holidays, and that the man admitted the two had an argument the night of Dec. 26.

"There is a person of interest, that was last … that we know of, that the police know of," English's stepfather, Kevin Jamison, said.

Atlanta police said they are investigating, but have no leads so far.

"Come forth and give us information that will assist us and bring her home," Cindy Jamison said.

"Whatever stone needs to be turned, we're going to do that to bring her home safe," Kevin Jamison said.

English's white 2006 Volvo S60 with license plate No. BPR 4324 is also missing.
