Roadwork causing delays in metro Atlanta

ATLANTA — Construction projects across metro Atlanta are causing some traffic delays for drivers.

Crews are also completing roadwork on Interstate 85. Workers will close the interstate in both directions,  between Cheshire Bridge Road and Georgia 400.

Traffic is slowing down at Interstate 285 near Riverside Drive in north Fulton County.

DOT officials said up to three eastbound lanes are shut down and will be closed the entire weekend from Riverside Drive to Roswell Road.
