Victor Hill sworn is as Clayton Co. sheriff

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Victor Hill was sworn in Thursday morning as sheriff of Clayton County.

Probate Judge Pam Ferguson told Channel 2's Mark Winne she swore Hill in as required by law.

Hill defeated incumbent Kem Kimbrough in the primary election, and was officially declared the race winner after November's general election.

Hill was indicted in January on 37 felony charges, including theft, racketeering and making false statements. Five of those have since been dropped.
