ATLANTA — Claudette became a tropical depression on Saturday evening after lashing the Gulf Coast.
The storm produced heavy rain in parts of metro Atlanta and downed trees and power lines. At least one tree fell on a car on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, trapping a woman inside.
The storm also spawned several isolated tornadoes in south Georgia.
Claudette is expected to re-intensify into a tropical storm after it moves out of Georgia.

The storm should be out of the area by Sunday evening.

Here’s what you need to know:
- 4-8 inches of rain are possible in some areas
- Spotty rain showers continue Sunday afternoon
