9. Atlanta Falcons head to Houston for Super Bowl

8. Road buckles on I-20

More than 8.4 million people saw NewsChopper 2 live over the scene on Facebook after part of Interstate 20 buckled. This came less than a month after a fire caused part of I-85 to collapse. All lanes of I-20 westbound were closed for several hours, impacting the morning commute. The lanes were reopened one by one throughout the day and were all open by 6 a.m. the next day.

7. Three dead in shooting at California school

More than 10.5 million people saw our live coverage of a deadly shooting at a school in San Bernardino, California. A teacher and an 8-year-old student were killed in an apparent murder-suicide at North Park Elementary School. Two other students were injured. Police said the students were not targeted, but were standing behind their teacher when the shooting occurred.

Falcons fans just couldn't contain their excitement as they prepared to watch their team play in the Super Bowl. Video shows fans joining together to do the Wobble in the terminal before boarding packed flights to Houston. One fan said she almost missed her flight because she had to get in on the fun. Video of the dance party was viewed more than 3.4 million times and reached 10.6 million people on our Facebook page.

5. I-85 Bridge Collapse

More than 11 million people saw our live coverage of the I-85 bridge collapse on Facebook. A huge fire was burning underneath the interstate, which caused a portion of the bridge to come down. The interstate was shut down and people were stuck in traffic for hours. The section of interstate took months to rebuild and reopened in May.

Dash-cam video shows a Cobb County police officer tell a woman "We only kill black people" during a traffic stop. The video was viewed more than 5 million times and reached nearly 11.5 million people on our Facebook page. The police department opened an internal investigation and the officer in the video retired soon after.

3. Woman sentenced to prison for threatening black family

A young couple was sentenced to years in prison for their part in a racially charged crime at a black child's birthday party. The couple were part of a larger group whose convoy of trucks, flying the Confederate battle flag, pulled up to a birthday party for an 8-year-old black child, threatened the family and yelled racial slurs. The woman's emotional reaction to her sentence, in which she said the incident was "the worst decision I've ever made," was viewed more than 5 million times and reached 11.8 million people on our Facebook page.

A woman who said she was having a "bad day" drove her SUV into a cellphone store in Florida. The 26-year-old woman was accused of smashing glass displays and attacking a store employee after she couldn't get her iPhone replaced. The video of the woman driving into the store in retaliation was viewed 5.4 million times and reached 14.5 million people on our Facebook page.

1. Officer beats woman at gas station

Channel 2 Action News obtained cellphone video of an officer beating a woman who he says was resisting arrest. The video was viewed more than 7 million times and reached 15.5 million people on our Facebook page. Police said the woman and the officer exchanged words before the woman assaulted the officer.
