ATLANTA - The owner of a beauty supply store hopes surveillance video will help catch two burglars who broke into her store.
The burglary happened around 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the Naturally Beauty Supply store on Fayetteville Road in southeast Atlanta.
The store’s owner, Morgan Wright, says the video shows two people taking packages of hair and stuffing them into a bag. One burglar looks right at the camera.
Wright said the crooks got more than $6,200 worth of hair.
“It's just an ultimate violation that someone would do that to me because we worked so hard for this. We used our entire savings to open this store,” said Wright.
Police say the men broke in through the front door. Wright says the surveillance video shows them using a crowbar to break through the lock.
Wright says she's been open for seven months and this was the first burglary at her store
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
