• Teen killed in Lumpkin County crash


    LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. - A 16-year-old is dead and two other teenagers are recovering after their car crashed into a tree in Lumpkin County Saturday night.

    According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 2014 Ford Mustang being driven by 18-year-old Forrest Blake left the northbound roadway on Rail Hill Road and hit a tree on the passenger side door.

    Blake's front seat passenger, 16-year-old Annah Robinson, was killed. Another passenger, 13-year-old Emily Robinson, was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. Blake was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

    The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
