Original Dwarf House to get massive remodel, expansion

HAPEVILLE, Ga. — The beloved original Dwarf House restaurant in Hapeville is going to be getting a major overhaul.

In a post to the restaurant’s Facebook page, a representative said that the Hapeville location closed on April 30 as it gets a full remodel.

“As one little red door closes, another will soon open. We can’t wait to see you again soon!” the restaurant posted Friday.

The original Hapeville Dwarf House is where Chick-Fil-A began 75 years ago. It still serves items from Truett Cathy’s original menu, including -- believe it or not -- hamburgers.
