ATLANTA — Some scattered storms and showers popped up Tuesday afternoon in north Georgia as a cold front moved in.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said some intense storms that moved east across metro Atlanta had strong winds and heavy downpours.
Drier air and cooler temperatures move in after Tuesday, Nitz said.
