Scattered showers move through Tuesday night

ATLANTA — Showers moving out through north Georgia will continue through Tuesday night.

Meteorologist Brad Nitz said showers were building up through the west into Rome to the west of Carrollton at noon. He says the showers are lifting to the north.

The risk for showers is going to continue through the night and into part of the day Wednesday, Nitz said.

Temperatures have been above average this week and will reach the high 60s Tuesday, Nitz said.
