SPARTANBURG, S.C. — An Amtrak train that passed through Atlanta on its way from New Orleans to New York derailed in Spartanburg, S.C. late Sunday night.
Several passengers were taken to the hospital. There were 218 people on board at the time of the derailment.
The injuries do not appear to be serious.
