Manhunt underway for BP robbery suspect

Alpharetta and Forsyth SWAT teams may be one step closer to bringing armed robbery suspect Kinneth Battle into custody.
At last check, SWAT teams had Battle cornered in a section of south Forsyth County, more than 10 hours after the armed robbery took place at the BP station on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta.
At least 45 deputies and SWAT team members from multiple jurisdictions were tracking Battle, who was believed to be inside a wooded area near Ga. 400 along Atlanta Highway, said George Gordon, a spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said Battle and another suspect jumped over the counter and snatched a register at the station. The men took off in a Jeep Cherokee, authorities said. The suspects parked the vehicle at a home in south Forsyth County.
Authorities went to the location, where they found one of the suspects hiding inside the Jeep.  Battle, considered armed and dangerous, may be carrying an AR-15 style weapon, authorities said.
Anyone with information about Battle's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
