GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - One student was on board a school bus that overturned in Gwinnett County Friday morning.
The school bus hit a curb on Mink Livsey Road near Pleasant Hill Road and overturned, according to Channel 2's Mark Arum.
The Gwinnett CountyPolice Department said a 5-year-old special needs student was taken to Children's healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston for observation.
The driver was not injured.
Gwinnett County schools said the student's parents have been notified, but they do not yet know what school the bus was heading to because busses for special needs students drop off at several schools.
