ATLANTA — Following showers and storms Saturday, a cold front will bring drier air to the metro.

Overnight, as that front moves to the south, somewhat drier air will filter into northern Georgia, Severe Weather Team said.
“You’ll especially notice the difference from metro Atlanta northward,” Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

On the south side, there’s still a slight chance for a few showers Sunday and Monday, closer to the front.
It will stay hot, however, with highs mainly in the low 90s.
A ridge of high pressure aloft will suppress storm development somewhat Tuesday through Thursday; the rain chance is 30 percent each day.
