SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - A Levi’s call issued for a missing 2-year-old has been canceled.
Sorelle Torres was last seen around 8 a.m. Friday on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, but police found her around 4:30 p.m. Friday in West Memphis, Arkansas. Sandy Springs police said Sorelle was unharmed and her father is in custody.
Police believe the girl was taken by her father, 30-year-old Zeb Lockett, of Atlanta. Police said the child’s mother was dropping her off at the Chastain Apartments when Lockett pushed the woman out and took off.
Police said Arkansas State Police spotted Lockett driving on the interstate near West Memphis.
The missing child alert said Lockett has previously been arrested for domestic violence. Warrants for Lockett's arrest charge him with kidnapping, aggravated stalking and motor vehicle theft. The stalking charge stems from a temporary protective order issued against him.
