Roswell PD looking for driver in Ga. 400 fatal crash

ROSWELL, Ga. — The Roswell Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle involved in a deadly motorcycle wreck on Ga. 400.

Police are looking for a black 2005 Jeep Liberty. The SUV likely has damage to the front passenger side. The SUV driver is being sought in connection with a motorcycle wreck that happened about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Ga. 400 northbound near Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.

Police said Howell was hit by the Jeep after falling off the motorcycle when it struck a median wall.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified the victim killed as 28-year-old Sarah Howell of Alpharetta. Roswell police said she was a passenger on the motorcycle that crashed.

The motorcyle driver, David Neil Howell, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. He is facing several charges, including  DUI, homicide by vehicle in the first degree and reckless driving, police said.
