ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. — Rockdale County deputies are searching for two people involved in two burglaries and a police chase that ended in a crash.
The sheriff's office said several people were involved in two burglaries, one in Newton County and one in Rockdale County. Deputies said they stole guns from both locations.
After Newton County officials sent out an alert for the burglars' vehicle, it was spotted on Sigman Road and Interstate 20 in Rockdale County, the sheriff's office said.
A chase on I-20 ended in a crash at Turner Hill Road. Deputies have three people in custody, but they are still searching for two additional people in that area.
They are considered armed and dangerous.
DeKalb County police and the Georgia State Patrol are assisting in the search.
