“As we head into the evening, you’ll start to notice some clearing skies,” Walls said.

By 8 p.m., mostly clear skies will work their way in as dry air comes our way.

“Your Friday morning commute will be vastly different,” Walls said, following a rainy Thursday morning forecast for Atlanta drivers. “We’re calling for clear skies that will continue throughout the day on Friday.”

It will be a cooler start to Friday, Walls said.

“I’m forecasting a low around 43 degrees in town. That means some upper 30s in our suburbs,” Walls said.

It will get warmer Friday afternoon, she said.

There is a slight chance for showers Sunday.

Temperatures will reach the mid-60s by Monday, Walls said.
