SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - A massive fire engulfed a four-story house in Sandy Springs on Tuesday afternoon.
The house is on Windship Place near Powers Ferry Road and Northside Drive.
News Chopper 2’s Jason Durden flew over the house shortly before 4 p.m., where firefighters had been battling the flames for more than a half hour.
Durden said the fire appeared to damage every floor, and the back of the residence suffered extreme damage.
Records say the home, built in 1996, is 4,600 square-feet and was sold in 2005 for more than $1 million.
