Georgian's who didn't strike any luck in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing have a shot at $310 million in the next drawing.
Lars Ljungdahl, of Savannah, cashed in big Wednesday with $1 million. One Conyers player selected the Power Play option, increasing a $10,000 prize to $40,000, while four players in Atlanta, Conyers, Decatur and LaGrange each won $10,000 to round out Wednesday's winners.
Players get another chance to try their luck with Saturday's $310 million Powerball Jackpot. This weekend's $310-million drawing will mark the game's largest jackpot since Georgia began selling tickets in 2010, said officials, noting the jackpot’s $193 million cash option is the highest in Powerball history.
The upcoming live drawing will air on Channel 2 Action News at 11 p.m. Results are also available on WSBTV.com.
The jackpot prize pool will be divided equally among multiple winners. The prize will be paid in 30 annual installments unless Cash Option is selected.
