Powerball jackpot grows to $415 million

ATLANTA — There were no jackpot winners in Wednesday's $361.5 million Powerball drawing, the Texas Lottery Commission announced about 90 minutes after the winning numbers were called.

Now Saturday's jackpot will be $415 million. CNN reports that's the ninth largest potential payout in U.S. history.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday right before the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11.

The winning numbers were 30, 47, 57, 66, 69 and the Powerball was 3.

Wednesday's drawing was worth $361.5 million when the numbers were called at 10:59 p.m. ET -- earlier in the day it was cited as $348 million -- but it pales in comparison to the $1.6 billion Powerball prize shared by three winning lottery ticketholders in January, the largest ever jackpot draw in the world.

According to Powerball, the odds of winning the top prize Wednesday were one in more than 292 million.

No one has won the multi-state lottery's full jackpot since March 2.
