Police: Woman kidnapped from Buckhead condo, robbed

ATLANTA — Atlanta police say a woman was kidnapped outside her home early Friday morning and forced to withdraw money from ATMs.

Police said the woman was returning to the Lenox Oaks Circle condominiums in Buckhead around 2:15 a.m. when three men forced her into the back seat of her car at gunpoint.

Atlanta Police Department Capt. Tim Peek told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the men drove the woman around and forced her to withdraw several hundred dollars from her bank account.

"After 30 to 45 minutes, they returned her back to her home where it all started, left her with her vehicle and fled on foot," Peek said.

Because the men had their faces covered, the victim could not provide a detailed description, Peek said.
