Police searching for missing veteran

ATLANTA — The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a military veteran who disappeared a week ago.

Deputies say Travis Clarke Dean was last seen Oct. 7 near the on ramp from Interstate 20 to Highway 11.

Authorities believe he may have been travelling to the VA Hospital in Decatur.

Dean is described as 42 years old, 5-foot 11, 160 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing torn jeans.

Dean requires daily medication and may be disoriented.
