Police search for remaining two suspects in deadly robbery

VILLA RICA, Ga. — Villa Rica police have made a second arrest in the Mobley Jewelry Store robbery-homicide investigation.

Mitch Mobley, 45, was killed inside his store Wednesday. Police suspect at least four men were involved in the crime spree.

Police said Eric Billings, 16, from College Park, has been charged as an adult with murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

A second suspect, Raphael Rucker, 23, from Atlanta, was arrested near Stone Mountain. Rucker was charged with murder and armed robbery and is currently in the Carroll County Jail.

Investigators told Channel 2's Erica Byfield the men entered the store and began breaking glass display cases and then Mobley confronted them.

Ururahy Rodrigues who owns a mixed martial arts studio next to the jewelry store shared video of the suspects with Byfield.

"It's unbelievable, you see your friend shot and you can't do nothing," Rodrigues said.

Mobley is being remembered as a father, friend, mentor and devoted community member.

"It's a shock, for all of us to see a man that everyone in this county knows and then someone takes his life like that," Villa Rica resident Neil Grimes said.
