Police search for burglary suspect near KSU campus

KENNESAW, Ga. — Police confirm to Channel 2 Action News they are searching for a burglar off of Chastain Road and Interstate 75.
 
Investigators told Channel 2's Ross Cavitt the burglar was spotted in a residence on Greenhouse Patio Road.
 
The burglar then took off with the homeowner's revolver.
 
The Georgia State Patrol, Kennesaw police and the Cobb County police are all investigating.
 
The Kennesaw State University police are also helping with the investigation because the home invasion happened close to the campus.
