Police: Pedestrian killed on I-75 in Clayton Co.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - All lanes of Interstate 75 northbound were closed for several hours in Clayton County due to a fatal crash involving a pedestrian.

Clayton County police said the pedestrian was struck by a tractor-trailer hauling 15,000 pounds of furniture between Highway 138 and Mount Zion Boulevard just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Northbound traffic was diverted to Interstate 675 until lanes reopened around 6 a.m.
