ATLANTA - Atlanta police say someone shot and killed a man who answered the door at his friend’s apartment late Sunday night.
Investigators said the man, who is in his 30s, had stopped by to see a friend when he answered a knock at the door.
“It was at that time we believe a suspect produced a handgun and discharged a weapon fatally injuring the victim in this case,” Atlanta Police Department Major Chris Meadows said.
Police said they do not yet have a description of the shooter or a motive.
