ATLANTA — Police say a homeowner fatally stabbed an intruder during an invasion Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 2:20 a.m. at a home on Saville Street in southwest Atlanta.
Police said the suspect entered the home and got involved in a struggle with the resident. The situation escalated to the resident stabbing the intruder.
The intruder died at the scene and the resident suffered minor injuries, police said.
The resident has not been charged. The investigation continues.
