DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police are actively searching for the man responsible for a double shooting.
Police said the shooting on Flat Shoals Road in DeKalb County was all because of a fight at a bus stop.
The shooting happened near an apartment complex located at 3379 Flat Shoals Road on Wednesday morning.
Investigators at the scene had to use extreme caution because there were so many kids in the area.
Channel 2's Ryan Young learned there was a fight this morning at a bus stop when someone tried to stick up for their sister. Adults got involved in this school dispute and then things turned nasty. Later that morning, someone came back to the scene with a gun.
As four men walked up the street, the shooter got out and opened fire on the group, hitting two men -- a 17-year-old and 21-year-old.
Young was told both are expected to survive.
A daycare and a nearby school were placed on a temporary lockdown as police searched this area.
