Police investigating Sandy Springs apartment shooting

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs police are investigating a shooting at the Azalea Park Apartments off Dunwoody Place.

The shooting happened shortly before 3 p.m. Police said one man was transported to North Fulton Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

His current condition is not known. So far, police do not have any information on the suspect or motive in the shooting.

“At this point, we have no information on the suspect or motive of the shooting,” Rose said in an emailed statement.
