PALMETTO, Ga. — Police tell Channel 2 Action News that a body has been found in a wooded area in Palmetto.
Investigators said they found the a body of a black female in a wooded area off Williams Road which runs parallel to Interstate 85.
Officer said the woman had an apparent gunshot. Investigators remain on scene.
