ATLANTA - Atlanta police say a teenage girl was assaulted on her way to her bus stop, but a witness came to her rescue.
Police told Channel 2 Action News a 16-year-old was on her way to her bus stop on Piedmont Road near Garson Road Tuesday morning when she was assaulted.
A manager at the nearby Pep Boys ran out and held the suspect down until police arrived.
Police said the suspect is in custody.
