Police: Drunken '67 Camaro driver crashes in club

ATLANTA — Two bouncers were hospitalized after a 1967 Chevy Camaro slammed into an Atlanta club.

Police said Robby Manley was heading south on Flat Shoals Avenue around 2 a.m. Friday and trying to show off by doing a burnout.

Police said he lost control, slammed into two poles and pinned two bouncers against the building, which houses Asylum nightclub.

"I saw the guy lying on the ground. He was in agony. You could tell he got hit pretty good," witness Brandon Roberts said

Manley tried to hide in a nearby vacant parking lot, police said.

Police said Manley was under the influence and is facing several charges, including DUI and hit-and-run.

The bouncers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Manley was taken to the hospital with a hurt foot.
