COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Marietta police are investigating the death of an elderly woman found dead in her home on Tuesday.
Officers told Channel 2 Action News that the woman's caretaker found the woman's body at the home on Aviation Road at about 8:30 a.m.
"She was not found deceased of natural causes, because of that there's some suspicious circumstances from what we found when we arrived on scene," David Baldwin of the Marietta Police Department said.
Channel 2's Ross Cavitt said the woman's bed-ridden husband was home at the time.
